This decaf Honduras Copan SWP comes from the Copan region in southwestern Honduras, near the historic city of Copan Ruinas, an area known for producing some of the finest coffees in Central America. Farms in this region benefit from fertile soils, high elevations - typically above 1000 meters - a range of microclimates that support high-quality coffee.
Today, a strong network of specialty-focused exporters and cooperatives continue to drive this progress, positioning Honduras as a leading origin for high-quality coffees.
This coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss water process, a chemical-free method that removes caffeine using water, temperature, and time while preserving the coffee's original character.
